Sometimes the biggest moments don’t hit all at once — they ask you to sit with them.

In this short update from the crossroads, I’m sharing some news that still feels unreal: Holding the Line: A Logistics at a Crossroads is heading to Podfest 2026 in Orlando after winning the Buzzsprout Creator Pass.

This episode reflects on where this podcast began — quiet conversations at a kitchen table, long days processing AR reports, stories shared by dispatchers and yard crews — and how those moments slowly turned into something worth being heard.

Now, 39 episodes in, the journey continues into new rooms, new conversations, and new possibilities.

As Podfest approaches, I’ll be sharing behind-the-scenes moments, live reflections, and what it means to bring logistics stories into creator spaces that rarely hear them.

“Hey everyone… it’s your girl Gia and I have… well just a wild but quick update from the crossroads — and this one still feels unreal.

Your girl is officially heading to Podfest 2026 in Orlando… because I won the Buzzsprout Creator Pass.”

I had to take a few days and just… sit with that.”

“This podcast started as a whisper at my kitchen table. In between processing AR reports in Jacksonville, FL, warehouse visits, conversations with dispatchers, with the operators and those who you never see- but are packing, moving, and driving your coveted items to a store near you. I wanted to talk about the voices that rarely get the mic.”

“I’m humbled. I’m excited. And yeah… a little nervous — knowing that come January, I’ll be sitting in rooms with creators, storytellers, educators, and dreamers… all carving out their place in the world.”

“But I’m ready. So ready.”

Beat. “In April of 2025, we posted the first episode. And here we are — 39 episodes in — and this happens.” This little dream of mine is turning into something big. Just enough to get noticed and seen. Big enough to get noticed. Just as the year ends and a new one begins. 

“So, what exactly does this mean for Holding the Line: A Logistics at a Crossroads?” Honestly, I am still sitting in the moment, but I am praying that it brings new ideas and new partnerships. New conversations, and a whole new season of stories — stories that hit deeper and sharper.”
